On 3 September, we took a road trip down to Port Alfred for one of the freshest events of the season – Stance by the River, hosted by the awesome crew at Stance4Charity. And let me tell you, it was nothing short of epic!
Picture this: rows of slammed rides, the iconic Port Alfred bridge standing tall in the background, the river flowing peacefully alongside, and the sound of music carrying through the air. That’s the vibe we walked into – cars, culture, and community all in one spot.
The stance scene didn’t hold back. From clean fitments to wild custom builds, there was eye candy everywhere you looked. Every car had its own story, and with the bridge as a backdrop, it felt like the perfect setting for a photoshoot at every angle.
But it wasn’t just about the cars – the food vendors brought their A-game. From street food favorites to sweet treats, there was something to keep everyone fueled up for the day. Add in some seriously good DJ sets, and the energy never dipped. Music, food, and cars – the holy trinity of a perfect weekend.
What made it even better was the sense of community. Enthusiasts came together, whether it was to talk about builds, share a laugh, or just vibe by the river. It had that easygoing, coastal festival feel – relaxed but buzzing at the same time.
Stance by the River showed once again why events like this are more than just car shows. They’re about people, passion, and good times. If you missed it, you’ll want to mark your calendar for the next one – because this was the kind of day you’ll be talking about long after the engines cooled.
