Kings Beach set the scene on Sunday, 7 September, as Bayside Stance Collective brought the stance community together for a day that was all about cars, culture, and connection. From the sound of compressors echoing across the beachfront to the sight of builds rolling in low and clean, the event carried a vibe that felt both electric and welcoming. This wasn’t just about showcasing rides — it was about celebrating the people and passion that make the stance scene what it is.
The Team and Support
None of it would have been possible without the people behind the scenes. BayFM and King Shine came through strong, while MOB Ent. and Gas Culture had the cameras rolling to cover the day. Judging and on-the-day support came from DeetFreak Entertainment, with Jason adding his expertise to the judging panel. A big thanks also goes to From Scratch Printwork & Website Development, who not only backed the event but also built this very website.
At the gate, Kaylee and Allison kept things flowing, while DJs Lyle, Just Labs, and Tubs brought the soundtrack that set the vibe. And of course, the support from familiar faces like Orville (The FullHeat), Duane (LowCo), Morton (Bullies), and international guest DJ Clint L elevated the day even more.
The Crews and the Cars
The stance community showed up strong. ACE of Stance made their presence known, but it was SLMD who walked away with Best Crew, proving their builds and presentation were on another level.
The lineup of cars was nothing short of impressive:
- Johan’s Spoon Civic, carrying the spirit of JDM purism.
- Warren’s static Golf 7, showing that static can stand toe-to-toe with air.
- Nathim Shaw’s clean VW Fox, a photographer’s car that spoke for itself.
- Soft’s bagged Corolla, perfectly dialed in.
- Steven’s bagged VW Polo, which not only drew the crowd but also claimed Best of Show.
- FTG’s bagged Audi A3, subtle but sharp.
- Meezan’s bagged BMW E39 wagon, a head-turner with presence.
- Chase’s engine-swapped, bagged NP200, loud, raw, and different.
Everywhere you turned, there was another build catching eyes and cameras — proof that stance in Slam City is thriving and evolving.
Food and Flavor
To keep the energy up, vendors like Meraki Foods, Taste Streetfood, Mega Bite, and Outstabulous brought a spread of options that matched the vibe. The mix of food, music, and cars made Kings Beach feel like the perfect stage for the culture.
Wrapping Up
When the sun dipped and the last set of wheels rolled out, Bayside Stance Collective closed the day on a high note. It wasn’t just about trophies or titles — it was about the community, the culture, and the builds that brought everyone together. The energy at Kings Beach showed how alive the stance scene is, and it left everyone looking forward to what’s next.
